ALAN AYMIE
Blessed with two wonderful children, Alan continues to amaze himself at how much he has to learn about this master class called Parenthood. Originally from Boston, he settled down in Los Angeles in 1993 (just in time for the big earthquake). Happy to be part of The Cradle, Alan also writes for the stage and screen where several of his plays and short films have been produced here in LA and NY. Alan, his lovely wife Heather, and their children live in Beverly Hills, CA.

LIA BRANDLIGT
Lia Brandligt is the owner of Simply Simplified, a design and organization company based in Los Angeles. Lia has been professionally organizing the lives and homes of celebrities, professionals and families for over five years. Lia has traveled all over the world helping clients find simplicity in their lives and spaces.

PAMELA BRILL
Pamela Brill, a professional magazine journalist, has been writing about parenting and children’s issues for nearly a decade. Before she began her freelance writing career, she served at the helm of two children’s industry publications: one specializing in baby products and the other in toys. Today, she concentrates her writing on both product reviews and child development topics. She also serves as an editor at large for Playthings magazine. Brill resides in Northport, New York, with her husband and preschool-aged daughter.

HANK CHILTON
Hank Chilton is living his dream in Los Angeles of being surrounded by women - wife Pamela, daughters Franny (2 ½) and Alice (born in March of this year) - and as a television writer currently working as co-producer on the FX Network's Nip/Tuck.

BRIGITTA DAU
Brigitta Dau has been teaching Pilates for 10 years and is certified in Polestar Pilates and the Pilates Method Alliance. Her other certifications include: American Council of Exercise, Spinning, and the American Fitness Training of Athletes. She loves working one on one in her private Pilates studio as well as teaching Pilates Mat classes, and Spinning, at various gyms including The Sports Club LA in both LA and Beverly Hills, The Blvd in Beverly Hills, and Truyogala in Santa Monica.

FELISA FINN
Felisa Finn is a freelance writer based in Santa Monica, CA. She loves doing do-it-yourself projects and once had her own all-woman house painting company. (Her favorite client was Pierce Brosnan, who greeted them every morning in his pajamas.) She's currently working on a book and plotting her next home improvement plan.

CHELSEA GLADDEN
Mother of a three year old daughter and a one year old son, Chelsea Gladden is well versed in the art of pregnant life. After working for Sony Pictures Entertainment for five years as a Web Producer/ Programmer/ Writer for The Young and the Restless official Web site, Chelsea is now a freelance writer with a regular column on SOAPnet.com and works with Dead Line, an LA based ad agency.

ADAM GROSSMAN
Born in New York City, Adam has been working as a screenwriter in Los Angeles for 10 years. He and his wife live in Bell Canyon with a 14-year-old son, 1-year-old baby boy, three dogs, two horses and a cat. 

KIM HEYMAN, LCSW
Kim Heyman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 11 years experience working with children and their families. She has a private psychotherapy practice in Los Angeles with a focus on postpartum issues and adjustment to parenthood. Kim also facilitates a Working Mother Support Group in Santa Monica. She says her best credential is being a mother to two busy boys ages 3 and 6.

PEC INDMAN EdD, MFT
Pec Indman Ed.D, MFT, has a Doctorate in Counseling and a Master's Degree in Health Psychology. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and formerly a Physician Assistant. She has a psychotherapy practice in San Jose, California. Specializing in issues related to reproductive health, pregnancy, and postpartum, Pec is a trainer for Postpartum Support International, and a member of the North American Society for Psychosocial OB/GYN and The Marce Society. She speaks and teaches throughout the US. She is the mother of two girls.

JULIE KNAPP
Julie Knapp is a lifestyles writer. Her work has been published in Parents and Weight Watchers. She’s also the founder of a blog, JivaFit.com, which covers health, fitness, personal development, and eco-friendly living.

VANESSA KNOX-BRIEN & BAUKJEN DE SWAAN ARONS (Isabella Oliver)
Vanessa uses her passion for chic, stylish clothing to create the designs for this unique collection of designer maternity clothing. Vanessa was previously a head designer at Victoria’s Secret and Head Designer & Creative Director at Natori. She lives in Fulham with her husband Barrie and their children Isabella and Piers.

Baukjen gained brand and product management skills at blue chip companies including Procter and Gamble and Orange. Baukjen’s passion for clean, modern, strong brands is reflected in the Isabella Oliver identity both online as well as offline. She lives in Hampstead with her husband, Geoff (who is the third co-founder of Isabella Oliver), and their children Oliver, Sebastian, and Pippa.

LAMBETH HOCHWALD
Lambeth Hochwald is a lifestyles journalist who writes for Health, Marie Claire, Parenting, Redbook and Woman's Day. Lambeth has worked on such launches as All You, Bundle and For Me and is an adjunct professor of journalism at NYU. She is also co-founder of parent P-L-A-Y, a family-events company based in Tribeca.

SKYE HOPPUS
Skye Hoppus is the creator behind Childish Clothing, an ultra hip maternity and children’s clothing line. In July of 2007, Hoppus imparted her knowledge of fashion in Rock Star Momma (Atria Books), a one-of-a-kind fashion guide helping today’s mothers-to-be learn how to maintain their style as they rock-and-roll their way into motherhood.  Most recently, Hoppus launched Childish {HOME}, a collection of organic candles that enhance the well-being of women during and after pregnancy.

SARAH JIOSarah Jio is a freelance writer who has contributed to CNN.com, SELF, Cooking Light, Glamour, Hallmark Magazine, O, The Oprah Magazine, Gourmet, Marie Claire, Health, and many other publications. She lives in Seattle with her husband and their young son, Carson.

SHARON KAMINKER, MD
Dr. Kaminker practices pediatrics in Santa Monica, California. She is affiliated with the Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA, UCLA Medical Center, and Santa Monica/UCLA Medical Center.

GREGORY KEER
Gregory Keer is a syndicated columnist, educator, and on-air expert on fatherhood. His Family Man® column appears in publications such as L.A. Parent, Boston Parents' Paper, and Bay Area Parent. In addition to writing for Parenting magazine and the Parents' Choice Foundation, Keer publishes the online fatherhood magazine, Family Man Online.

He also contributes to The New York Times, FOX News Channel, Washington Post Radio, USA Today, Pregnancy, DrLaura.com, and ParentingBookmark.com. He and his wife are the proud parents of three sons. JANET MCLAUGHLIN
The self-anointed ‘Stroller Queen’ has been called “The world’s premier authority on strollers.” She has been featured in several media outlets, including the BBC London, New Yorker magazine, CBS News Early Show, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times.

KIMBERLY DANEK PINKSON
Kimberly Danek Pinkson is the founder of the EcoMom Alliance and a popular media guest and keynote speaker on issues of green living and sustainability. A longtime social entrepreneur and freelance writer, she is a frequent contributor for parenting magazines and websites such as BabyCenter and iVillage. She is the proud mommy to son Corbin, a doting auntie to two nephews, and very happy to be a part of The Cradle.

GIA RUSSO & MICHELE ADAMSKnown together as “The MiGi Girls,” Michele Adams and Gia Russo bring their personable charm and fresh, unique style to everyday living through their television shows, lifestyle books, product lines, and magazine editorials. Their editorials have been seen in such titles as InStyle, O Magazine, Lucky, Glamour and Fit Pregnancy. Fall 2006 brought the launch of their own line of MiGi branded products: The MiGi Baby Collection and MiGi Tabletop. Recently, The MiGi girls launched their MiGi line of stationery, a collaboration between the MiGi girls and current Tiny Prints designer Kirby Woodson of Petite Alma. Michele and Gia are proud moms of toddler boys.

JENNIFER SBRANTI
Jennifer Sbranti is an accomplished designer, entrepreneur, and entertaining guru from San Diego, California - where she resides with her husband of 7 years, Sonny Sbranti, and their 2 beloved yellow labs, Jazz & Max. In 2006, Jennifer founded Hostess with the Mostess, Inc. – an ambitious venture that brings modern and innovative entertaining ideas to light through an all-encompassing party planning website - hostesswiththemostess.com – and a daily blog - The Hostess with the Mostess Guide to Fabulous Finds for Contemporary Entertaining. Having hosted countless celebrations herself, ranging from special occasion showers and theme parties to casual, everyday get-togethers, she now shares her hip, unique style and no-fuss approach to entertaining with others.

SUSIE ORMAN SCHNALL
Susie Orman Schnall grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. She worked for 9 years in marketing/communications before she had her first child. Now a freelance writer, Susie, her husband Rick, and their three young boys live just outside of New York City.

LORI YVE SUNKIN, MA, MFT
Lori Yve Sunkin is a licensed marriage and family therapist who, for twelve years, has been specializing in a variety of clinical issues including pre/postpartum depression, infertility, adoption, and pregnancy loss.

After graduating from UCLA, she received an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles. Lori provides in-home, office and hospital psychological counseling for women, men and their families and frequently trains professionals in the medical field to be able to better identify symptoms related to and pre and postpartum depression in women. Lori is the proud mother of two children.

YVONNE WOLF
After attending over 200 kids' birthday parties over the course of 5 years, Yvonne Wolf realized that she had become a professional children's party guest. Instead of furthering her career as a party attendee, she decided to put her special events background to use by creating The Party Shopper! to help parents alleviate the stress they encounter when planning a child's party. The Party Shopper! also coordinates larger events such as Bar and Bat Mitzvahs with the same ease.
