Not only do I love products... I love baby products. And these days, it seems as though new and exciting designs are being introduced all the time.

Here are some recent finds that have caught my eye...

by Laurie, Content Director

Skip Hop

Crib Bedding Collection

Skip Hop has now entered into the nursery with its fashionable bedding for baby… and we like it! Choose from two different designs that are both modern and functional - Mod Dot or Vine Floral. You can even go all out and match your crib set (which has a 385 thread count) with coordinating accessories such as a decorative pillow, a lamp, or a wall organizer.

Healthy Child Healthy World: Creating a Cleaner, Greener, Safer Home

Created by Christopher Gaivgan, the Executive Director and CEO of HCHW, this eco-friendly lifestyle guide is chock full of tips and ideas on how parents can implement a healthy and a non-toxic environment for their family. And the fun part? It features input from celebrity parents such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Tobey Maguire, Tom Hanks, Erin Brockovich, Sheryl Crow, and Kate Hudson (with a foreword by Meryl Streep). Currently in pre-sell on Amazon, it hits stores on April 17th.

 National Badger

Animal Prints

Bring a colorful menagerie into the nursery with these new designs created by Brooklyn artist, Christine Heinitz. Digital prints of animals from original paintings are laminated on Baltic birch plywood disks, and are available in different sizes and colors (they can be customized according to your color scheme). Fun, funky... and something different for your wall décor.

methodbaby Baby Care
Products

We love them for their stylish, “green” cleaning products for the home… now they’re helping babies get squeaky clean, too. Available in April, their new line Methodbaby now offers hair and body washes, body lotion, diaper cream, and bubble bath. The gentle products are 99% natural (the diaper cream is 95% natural), hypo-allergenic, pediatrician tested, and tear-and paraben-free. Safe for baby… safe for Mother Earth.

These cleansing towelettes are soft enough to be used on both sets of cheeks! Using a blend of marine silk, vitamins E and B5, organic aloe, as well as ginger and chamomile, it creates a soothing and moisturizing combination. Hypoallergenic, and free of harmful chemicals and other known skin irritants. Most importantly, they smell great and feel so soft. Available in April.

Pomme Bebe

Baby Food

Fresh, delicious, organic food for baby. While their store front opened in October, the online store just recently launched, so now they’re able to ship across the U.S. (in environmentally-friendly insulated packaging - we love that!). The menu changes with the seasons, so you know it’s fresh. No preservatives, no fillers, no chemicals – just natural, organic goodness. Even our 2 ½ Cradle tester liked it!

Nutrabella

Bellybar Chews

Since I’m pregnant and a vegetarian, I’m excited about these new chews from NutraBella, the makers of those tasty snack bars. Available in two flavors, Citrus on Board (my personal favorite) and Chocolate Cuddles, not only are they vegetarian, but they are chock full of calcium and more importantly, Omega-3 DHA (those important building blocks for baby’s brain, eye, and nervous system development). Pass the chews, please!
