I had the pleasure of attending Bubble, a kid’s trade show in New York, which has a more intimate and stylized feel than some of the larger shows. Every booth had something beautiful or artistic – I was in product heaven!

Here are some of my favorite finds:

Zid Zid Kids

I’ve loved their Mini Poofs, and now they offer them in both silver and gold designs. And their new Zid Zid elephant – too cute! It’s a great addition to the playroom or nursery, plus as your little one gets older, it’s a fun object to play on. And, for a perfect new baby gift, check out their embroidered blocks set. Soft and sweet, they’ll surely encourage imaginative play.

Romp

I’m in love with these wallpaper silhouettes by designer Inke Heiland. Made from vintage and new wallpaper, it’s such a lovely and interesting way to decorate a blank wall. Modern style with retro charm, you can mix and match the designs to create your own menagerie or zoo. Now they even offer a wallpaper tree (be sure to add some of their cute bird designs to it).

 Doctor T's Supergoop

Living under the California sun, I’m ready to stock up on this SPF 30 sunscreen for my son. It goes on like a dream and doesn’t feel sticky (I’m going to get some for myself, too!). It’s water-resistant, organic, and weightless, with no animal testing. The American Academy of Dermatology even gave it the Gold Triangle Award for "Excellence in Sun Safety." (Doctor T even has its own celebrity fan club: Brooke Shields, Jennifer Garner, Heidi Klum and Reese Witherspoon, to name a few).

This organic skincare for moms and babies is 99% organic, 100% natural with no artificial anything (no parabens, no chemicals, no preservatives, or toxins!). This eco-conscious company supports sustainable practices (they use recyclable packaging - glass and meal), and are 100% woman owned. Love the Mama Baby Oil, the Cheeky Baby Butter, and their natural lip balm. One word: Yum!

Binth

Oh beautiful, beautiful Binth. I’ve loved their posters and their baby book… and now I love their cards (they’ve come out with some new designs). They use a refined screen-printing process with water-based inks and mix their colors by hand – plus, the papers are recycled. Blank inside, these cards are perfect for a baby shower, a new baby, or baby’s first birthday.

i golfini della nonna

These designs are so charming – I fell in love on the spot! They create lovely, hand-knit products such as stuffed animals, finger puppets, and toys. All are either 100% cotton or 100% alpaca, and are made in Bolivia by indigenous women.

Seven Smooches

Now, this is what I call earth-friendly! Making clothes, purses, blankets, and more from 100% repurposed, recycled sweaters. Using natural wool, cashmere, and angora yarns and vintage buttons (when they can), these designs are one of a kind – no two are the same.

Gregoire Ganter

This photographer takes pictures of individual letters and images, and puts them together to either spell out the alphabet or your baby’s name (mostly images from NYC, as well as places sprinkled throughout the U.S. and Europe). Finished product is printed as digital C-prints on matte, archival paper. Try their custom work where you can be involved in the creative process of choosing the images and letters.

dVider

I’m all about wall stickers! It’s such an easy and creative solution for when you want to dress up a wall. These come in a slew of different patterns and colors, and will certainly dress up any nursery or play room in a whimsical, child-like way. Animals, nature, and funky robots – you name it!

kit+lili

Their products were a feast for my eyes! Colorful fabrics and cute designs - ahhhh. Loved their onesies (keep an eye out for their upcoming new prints for baby), their tote bags (could make a great diaper bag), and their floor pillows (ideal for little ones to flop around on). Perfect for spring and summer!

Our Children's Gorilla

These products are innovative, imaginative, and best of all, eco-friendly. Designs include monkey hangers (which I’m ape over!), a slotted chair, mobiles, and toys. Good for your child, good for the earth.
