starting a family isn't anything new,
but lately it seems that tinseltown is teeming
with celebrities having babies.
these new (and expectant) moms are often
in the know on what's new, what's hot, and
what's tried-and-true in the world of
pregnancy and baby products.
(either that, or their stylists have great taste!)
here are some of their recent picks.
Celeb fans: Jessica Alba, Heidi Klum, Brooke Burke,
Christina Aguilera, Josie Maran
Though being a celebrity is glamorous and fun,
the downside is that you are photographed everywhere you go.
So, what’s a pregnant starlet to do if she needs to make a (decaf)
coffee run and stay comfy (but stylish) while doing so? Enter 1 in the Oven
soft Henley tees. They somehow manage to be cozy but flattering at the same
time. Also, the seven buttons down the front can be buttoned up for a
more conservative style or unbuttoned to sport a deep v-neck. Saucy!
Celeb fans: Liv Tyler, Jennifer Garner, Brooke Shields
We (and many celeb moms) can not say enough good
things about this luxurious body care line which caters to especially
sensitive skin. As if the sweet packaging (it has a French boudoir vibe)
isn’t enough, the products themselves are delicious. It’s no wonder Liv, Jennifer,
and Brooke all use the French milled soap on their little ones. Besides
being made with 100% vegetable oil so there are no harsh detergents
or chemicals, there are also adorable messages engraved on each side -
“Clean Bean” and “Nudie Cutie." Noodle and Boo also gives back -
100% of the sales from their "Believe Honey Bar" goes to the
Raise Your Hand campaign which provides clean water for children in Africa.
Celeb fans: Kevin Costner, Britney Spears
It’s easy to see why Cayden Costner is constantly spotted around town
wearing his dapper Knuckleheads duds. How can anyone resist
these adorable, kitschy pieces which have a real 1950’s sensibility?
Our personal favorites: the "Skivvies" underwear and tank top set,
which is a great around-the-house outfit; the coveralls for the little
greaser (boy or girl), and the pub hats for those babies who are
self-conscious about their baldness.

Celeb fans: Jaime Pressly, Heidi Klum, Debra Messing, Patricia Arquette
We’ve all gone through it (A-listers above included): You think that
Pepto pink will look just darling on your nursery walls until… it doesn’t.
Enter Wall Candy Arts. These reusable, adhesive wall decals
range in themes from nature to transportation to ABC’s,
and can literally make a room. And if you make an impulsive design
decision, no problem! The decals come off easily.
So make like Heidi Klum and say “Auf Wiedersehen”
to multiple paint jobs and permanent wall murals.

Celeb fans: Courteney Cox
Though there have been many contemporary variations
on the baby keepsake book, Elizabeth Melsheimer, founder
of Kistner Supply, decided to keep it simple and elegant by re-publishing
a classic. The Mother Stork’s Baby Book has kept many elements from
the original version published in the early 20th century - beautiful illustrations,
vintage fonts, and poetry. The old fashioned look and feel of this album
is as precious as baby itself. No wonder Courteney Cox
has one for sweet Coco!

Celeb fans: Jessica Alba
With a name like Honor, Jessica Alba’s baby girl is probably pretty
diligent in making sure her thank you notes get sent out.
Well, she’s lucky to have a mommy who is both stylish
and earth-friendly, because her correspondence gets sent
on 9SpotMonk’s modern, adorable designs, which are letterpressed
on 100% recycled paper. Their facility is also 100% wind powered.
We might just need to have a Cradle party soon
as an excuse to buy some invites!
