On Regis & Kelly, proud grandpa Regis Philbin happily announced the birth of his daughter Jennifer’s first child, William Xavier Schur on February 18.

During the Spice Girls’ concert at Madison Square Garden in NY on February 18, the ladies had their kids join them on stage to sing, “Mama, I Love You.” As the pop stars hugged their little ones, the youngest of Victoria Beckham’s three boys, three year old Cruz, got the crowd going with some moves of his own. “We all had our children up on stage tonight and Cruz started break dancing!” Geri Haliwell posted on the group’s blog. “How cool is that? It’s clearly in the family.”

At the premiere of The Golden Compass in Tokyo, expectant Nicole Kidman told reporters, “I think once you have children, you want to balance the work you do. Occasionally you want to make films that they can take their friends to, [that] they can go to the premiere of; that they celebrate.”

Denise Richards starts filming a reality show for E! this week, produced by Ryan Seacrest, and based on her day to day life. After battling Charlie Sheen in court for the right to have their daughters be seen on the program, she set the record straight with Us Weekly saying, “I was upset because after what was nothing more than a legal clearance, people claimed I had created a show about my children, which is not true. I’m going to be respectful about how they’ll appear.”

As host Jon Stewart pointed out, pregos represented at the 2008 Academy Awards. Nicole Kidman, Jessica Alba, and Cate Blanchett were all presenters.

Goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (and rumored to be pregnant), Angelina Jolie, went to Baghdad on a U.S. government mission with the State Department to Iraq. “What happens in Iraq and how Iraq settles in the years to come is going to affect the entire Middle East," she told CNN. "And a big part of what it's going to affect, how it settles, is how these people are returned and settled into their homes and their community and brought back together and whether they can live together and what their communities look like."

With her daughter Lourdes in tow on the North Lawn of the United Nations in NY, Madonna helped raise over $3.7 million for Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and UNICEF on behalf of children made vulnerable by AIDS in Africa. "Gucci is important to me," Madonna told People Magazine of her event sponsor. "Because they stepped up to the plate to support me. And that means a lot." Several stars were in attendance at the event including a very pregnant Jennifer Lopez, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, Rihanna, and Drew Barrymore.

Speaking about her husband to Parade Magazine, Jaime Pressly explained their son’s name, “His father is Cuban and he always mimics how Desi Arnaz greeted Lucy: ‘Hi, honey. I’m home.’ So we named our son for Desi but changed the spelling.”

When it comes to naming babies, celebrities are taking it to the "Max." Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman, Trista and Ryan Sutter, and Olympic skater Scott Hamilton have all recently given their newborns the name.

While promoting her DVD Back to Basics: Live and Down Under, Christina Aguilera told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show, "I'm very excited [about] this whole incredible thing that's taken place in my life, between the pregnancy and the birth. I've been brainstorming for the last nine months of my pregnancy. This next album will have a whole new me. A different me."

Doing press for her new movie The Eye, Jessica Alba responded to Us Weekly’s question regarding the best part of her pregnancy by saying, “You can’t believe you have something inside of you that’s growing. It’s the most incredible thing in the world, and at the same time, it is very emotional and bizarre.”

Gracing the cover of Glamour, Naomi Watts said in the accompanying article, “I do want more children…it would be great to give Alexander a sibling.”
