The shower had a Japanese carnival theme, and Aguilera received gifts from her registry at Bel Bambini. According to People, Nicole Richie had a Wizard of Oz themed shower over the weekend. The event was organized by planner Mindy Weiss, and was thrown by mother and sister, as well as Paris Hilton and Masha Gordon. There were 90 guests in attendance. |

 | | Britney Spears and photo agency X17 have teamed up to auction off her new CD, Blackout, to benefit UNICEF. The pop princess has autographed both the insert and the CD in black permanent marker,” X17 said. The Spice Girls are donating proceeds from every download of their new single, “Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)”, to the charity BBC Children in Need. Reese Witherspoon and Keri Russell attended an LA event for The Children’s Defense Fund.
Madonna and Gucci are hosting a dinner and musical performance at Gucci’s store opening in New York on February 6, according to Reuters. All proceeds will benefit UNICEF and Madonna’s charity, Raising Malawi, an organization for orphans in her adopted son’s home country. "I am grateful that Gucci is joining forces with me to bring attention to a country with millions of children in desperate need of our help," she said in a statement.
