I just had my 37 week appointment today and found out that I'll be having my baby 2 weeks from tomorrow. They said that they wanted me to go ahead and schedule a c-section. The only way I won't have it is if she turns between now and Monday when I have my next sonogram (which they say is unlikely). So September 4th is the date. I'm really nervous because I've never had any kind of surgery, but I can't wait to have my baby.

Oh good luck!! If it's any help my best friend was suppose to go into a C-section and the day before her appt her baby flipped into the right postion. So it happens. I would be scared too, but they do so many c-sections nowadays I wouldn't sweat it. I'll keep you in my thoughts and hope all goes well for you!!

Good luck to you! My C-section is scheduled for Monday. I couldn't get lucky by him wanting to come out sooner! Not even dilated or anything, so they said they wanted to do a repeat c-section and the 24th is the day! C-sections aren't as scary as they seem, though. Maybe your baby will flip. Here's wishing

Congratulations and good luck! I'm nervous for you, but just think of the outcome - a beautiful baby girl! You mentioned that you are a teacher (if I remember ocrrectly) so does that mean you will be missing the first weeks of school? I ask because I'm a teacher too, but my actual due date is Oct. 15th and I'll start the school year, but I'm nervous about starting, leaving, and then coming back! How are you feeling about leaving and coming back? I'm not a new teacher and have a wonderful, supportive administration, but it's still on my mind!
Anyway, once again, congratuations on you new journey! You'll do fantastic and so will she! :-)

I'll be there the first week then I'll be off. So it's going to be crazy, but at this point I'm too excited!
