When it got warmer out, my son lived in his diaper and a bib all the time. I nursed, so his clothes were constantly stained. When we went out, I would keep 4-5 bibs with me, 3 changes of clothes, and at least 2 burp cloths. I even had a spare stash of things in the car!
Just a question...Are you nursing or bottle feeding? If you're nursing, the baby could be allergic to something you're eating. If you're bottle feeding, the baby could be having a reaction to the formula.
As far as the "feeling hungry" issue. A lot of the time, the baby isn't really hungry. It's usually because they have a gas bubble and eating makes it feel better for a little while. When my son was about 4 months old, I left him with a friend for the day with enough breast milk to last him the entire day. She gave him the milk whenever he would cry and of course he threw it all up...By the time my hubby got there, he had eaten and thrown up over 32oz of milk!
Something that sort of helped my son with his gas issue was to lay him across my lap on his tummy. Supporting his head, I would gently bounce my knees, just enough to work out the bubble. If he was super fussy, I would lay him on his tummy in my arms and fly him back and forth. The movement would almost always calm him down. Sometimes, I would have to fly him for half an hour or more, but it would eventually work. Sometimes, I had to let him suck on one of my fingers at the same time.
Just a few more thoughts. I hope something works out for you!
