Hi ladies... anyone else having and August baby? I am due August 1st.

How are your pregnancies going? What are you having etc. This is my first baby and our little one was playing hard to get at the 20 week stage. He/She was swimming around doing flips all while keeping his/her legs crossed in Indian Style fashion. We have another shot in a few weeks since my placenta was lying low they will do another one at 32 weeks. I am hoping to find out then, or else baby Ballard is doomed to green and yellow for a bit.

I'm due August 13th. This is my 3rd pregnancy and we are expecting our 3rd BOY! I was really hoping for a girl this time and when I first found out it's another boy I was disappointed but now I'm totally over that and just excited! He's healthy and kicking like a mad man, I can't wait to meet him!!

Hi gusjodi!!! That's so exciting. We were really rooting for a boy since I am the only one in his family left to carry on his last name. His brother had 3 girls. He also has three sisters all married with children. When we couldn't find out the sex of our baby I went and did one of those walgreen's Intelligender tests. (basically a pee test)and it says that we are having a girl. I'm not 100% convinced but my husband is.

Do you have names picked out?

If it's a girl we are going with Abigail Athena and if it's a boy it will be Timothy Wayne Jr. (We will call him TJ).

I had a girl's name all picked out (Kathryn Rose) but no boy's names picked out. We're thinking about Max Eugene (Eugene is my Dad's name) but we're not totally sure yet...

I am also due in August!!! August 16th to be exact. We are expecting our first child and it's a GIRL The first trimester was the worst for me not extremely bad but bad enough. But since I hit my second trimester it's been great!!!!! We are strongly considering naming her Kailyn Erica-Marie. Good luck with the next ultrasound

Well hello to you ladies... I love all your names. My husband threw out his grandparents names too for name sake purposes in case there were two boys in there. I was at higher risk to have twins b/c I was overweight and my OB said that I should wait for a few cycles to get pregnant after going off the pill as it would increase my chances of having twins. OOOPS ... literally I think it took 8 days after going off the pill. But his grandparents names were Fletcher and Donald. I'm really sorry if any of your kids have either of these names... but I don't know if I could do that to them. Middle name ... maybe.

Lee baby... I was really sick too. For about 4 months strait. Went from getting sick multiple times a day to a few times a week... to once to ... THANK GOD it's gone!!!!!!

I'm glad we all have this site to compare our stages and stuff. Keep in touch ladies and let me know how your check ups go! This is so exciting being a first time mom.

I had my glucose test yesterday and it wasn't so bad. Lemon-Lime. Glucose came out good except they said I'm anemic now and need to take two additional iron pills. I guess that's better than getting the diabetes.

I am STILL dealing with morning sickness, I even have my little pills that are supposed to help but don't always seem to. I've thrown up twice so far today... It's actually a lot better than the beginnging but I really want it to STOP.
I have my glucose test on Mondy and I'm not looking forward to it since so many things make me want to hurl. I don't think the diabetes test will be positive but I am afraid that I'll be anemic because I can't eat as much.
In spite of everything though I am enjoying this pregnancy so much and can't wait to meet the little guy.

Oh no JusJodi - I sure hope things calm down. I was very sick for the first four months... but finally mine let up. I sympathize with you. Your doctor may let you request certain flavors??? Mine was lemon-lime and tasted exactly like 7-up.

Has anyone else had heart palpatations? For the last few days I've been getting them and it's really starting to bug me. They don't hurt or anything but I feel like my heart is going to jump right out of my throat! I looked it up online and apparently it's very normal due to the increased blood volume and nothing to worry about unless you're dizzy or passing out, which I'm not.

No heart palupitations but some wicked heart-burn/acid reflux that sometimes feels like I got a giant pill stuck in my throat. Also my asthma has flared up but I've luckily been able to keep it under control.

Do you have a doctors appointment soon? Maybe a call in wouldn't hurt?

I have an appointment on Monday, I'll mention it then... I also have to mention how tired I am, it's crazy, no matter how much sleep I get it's not enough... I can hardly keep my eyes open at times. ZZZZZZZZZ...........

I wonder if your Anemic too? Being my first pregnancy I thought that being tired was just part of the game... but Anemia makes you more tired too. Good luck at your appointment.
