Breast feeding after a breast reduction | 7/14/09 12:25 PM
Does anyone know what the percentage rates are for being able to breast feed after having a breast reduction? I had one in 2006 and I'm now pregnant with our first baby. I have plenty of soreness and it gets worse by the day. Is that any indication of whether or not I will be able to breast feed?

I have a friend that had a breast reduction and she was able to breastfeed her baby just fine.
Hope this helps.

Yes, you should be able too. And the soreness is completely normal, reduction or not . Congrats on the pregnancy.
