Well today i had some brown discharge, but nothing horrible like i have experienced in the past. I had a miscarriage in June at 10 weeks it started like brown discharge, but was more like a period ending in red blood. This time i got a very very light discharge that was brown nothing to really make me really worried, but i called the nurse anyway to check. The nurse said its normal after intercourse due to the cervix has alot of blood rushing to it. So therefor when you bother it the old blood comes out in discharge. Any one else have this common discharge due to intercourse? Or any other stories for reassurance?

I don't remember whether it had to do with sex or not, but I did have a brownish discharge for a week or so in the first trimester. No cramping or any red blood. It went away, and I've made it smoothly to 36 weeks

It's probably not a concern at all, especially if the nurse said it's normal, and you're only getting it after sex.

Its normal. For most women anyway. As long as you checked with the doctor you should be ok. I had some of the same thing and occasionally still do and I am 24 weeks. Good Luck!

I had the same thing happen to me. This is my second preg. The first ended in a miscarriage at 8 wks. Just today I had a small amount of blood on tissue after urinating. Not sure what's wrong. Go for confirmation on 10/13. Maybe like 7 wks. Don't want a repeat of first. There was a dark brown d/c but no cramping.I hope this really is "normal". I was told that before

I just had the same thing happen to me along with a little bit of cramping. I talked to two nurses and they both told me the same thing. They told me it was from having intercourse. I stopped having intercourse for two days and it went away...

B;ood on tissue can be from intercourse or implantation. Be careful though and take it easy until you see the doctor. Dark brown discharge usually isn't too normal, only light brown with no blood. Good luck
