Colors, Colors, Colors!!! | 3/26/08 3:44 PM

I just bought really expensive bedding like a week before I found out I was pregnant so I am trying to figure out a way to co-ordinate all the colors! My new set has dark brown sheets and a periwinkle blue comforter set. Right now my walls are a color called "suede" which is a medium brown but I want to lighten it up for the baby. Does anyone have any ideas about a good color that isn't too dramatic and very calming that would match my new bedroom set?

Is there a website so I can see the bedding set? I think a neutral color like the accents on this website would look great.

This is very simular to my bedset, the colors are the same. The only difference is that the khaki colored design on the comfortor is the same as the plain blue color just kinda shiny. Also my sheets are that same dark brown. I was thinking of like a really light khaki color, a color called puffed rice which is like a cream with a hint of yellow. I have also seen these colors used with orange tones...that may be a bit too much though!
My bedroom is very large (19x16) but the celings are shaped like an A framed house because it's over 100 yrs old and I am on the top floor. Last but not least I plan to put in a tan color carpet in to pull everything together. So what is the verdict?

Thanks!!!

check out Inspired Crib Bedding, The geometric patterns you’ll find at their website are perfect for a modern nursery. My favorite style is the Geox in the refreshing and gender-neutral orange and green colorway.
you’ll find an entire collection of coordinating accessories including pillows, stroller blankets, changing pad covers and even artwork for your baby’s nursery. All pieces are made in the USA.
