Is everybody excited? I just had my 37 week appointment with a cervical exam. I was thrilled to hear that I am 3 cm dilated already with my first baby. He is head down and facing my back. My cervix is still midposition and thick, but soft. My due date is the 27th, but my doc thinks I'll have my baby in the next two weeks or so. Have any other Oct. moms gotten some encouraging news lately? Hubby and I are so delighted to know that he's coming soon and everything looks good.

Hi

Just had my 37 week exam, no internal though... wonder why?! I was told thought that my blood pressure has spiked ( up until now it has been perfect ) so I have to go in again to get checked on Sunday. If it is high again there is a possibility that they will induce!!!
My due date is the 26th... but I guess it could be in 4 days!!!

I am due to have a scheduled c-section on the 16th, I have had three internal exams... since 35 weeks. I have been dilated to only a 1 each time... so no progress. I mean I know I can't be upset that I am not progressing, but for some reason I still get mildly disappointed. Oh well, I guess she just wants to stay where it's nice and warm since over the last two weeks it has gotten pretty chilly here. Good luck to all you ladies, how exciting a time this is for us! We are so close to meeting our little bundles!
