Has anyone tried IntelliGender? | 3/30/09 8:01 PM
Just read about the gender urine test that You can purchase at Walgreens and it can determine the gender starting at 10weeks along. It's suppose to have a 90% accuracy. I don't know. I can't remember if it's $35.99 or $39.99. But I'm just curious.

Look it up. It was started by two moms and it hit shelves in 2006, I believe.

Since I already know the gender of our third child, I'm thinking about testing it out for myself. Just to see how accurate it really is.

But has anyone here ever tried it and was it right on?

We tried it. It's hard to say whether it worked or not. If its a boy its supposed to turn this ugly army green and if its a girl its supposed to turn orange. As luck would have it our color was somewhere between the two. It seemed to be a bit more green though. We find out in 2 weeks what the gender is (assuming the baby cooperates with the ultrasound)! I guess we'll know then how well it worked! I've heard though, that it just detects whether or not there is testosterone in your body. If there is...boy. If not...girl. So you'd think it would work?!

I am pregnant with my second child and i tried to intelligender test, for me the results said a boy, but i watched the dr's show today and it says the test will not be accurate if you have sex the night before taking the test and wouldnt you know my husband and i had sex...LOL so i wasted $35.00 and dont know what we are having.
