What, am I the only mommy expecting to deliver in September? This is my first and I am thrilled. We weren't trying, but we weren't preventing, so when the test read positive, all the emotions came flooding out. And even more so when I heard the baby's heart beat the first time. Things are going good so far, which is great. I had to take it easy for a few weeks as the doctor saw something concerning in my first ultrasound, but it has dissipated and it's all good now. I had some morning sickness, which would mainly hit in the evenings, and the smell of some foods would definitely do it, which my husband thought was hilarious. Was not for me as I was the one leaning over the toilet puking.
Anyway, hope there are some other expecting mommy's out there who are due in September.

I'm due September 10. It's been pretty easy for me. No sickness, no weight gain so far. I'm having a perfectly healthy little girl.

How exciting, Congratulations to you. I am in the same boat, not too bad on the sickness, the morning sickness hit me hard one day and I couldn't move without throwing up, and most of the time when I did get sick it was in the evenings so then I would be tired in the mornings. But I can't complain about it as it was only a few days. Smells would really get to me, so I couldn't keep leftovers in the fridge without it setting me off.
I haven't found out yet what I am having, hopefully within in the next two weeks I will. I am actually hoping this upcoming week the doctor will let me do my ultrasound to find out. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow for the monthly visit, so I will find out if I have gained any weight. I don't feel like I have, but I am starting to get the little baby bump which is exciting.

Do you have any names picked out for your girl?

My baby is due September 1st. I am also 98% sure its a girl....so they say and I am doing well. Not too sick and sore with few complaints. I am actually taking my sisters 1 and 4 year old boys to the zoo tomarrow and went flea marketing today in 80* weather, with barely any feet swelling! I have only gained 8 lbs. and am starting to really see the belly now! This is my first baby and I am a diabetic with high blood pressure, on top of having p.o.s. (which they say makes it hard to concieve, but we only tried for 3 months before we were positve on x- mas day!)We are really excited to be having a girl... and so far so good....

Ava Elizabeth. Her name has been decided before she was even conceived. The anatomy ultrasound is the most interesting one. They check everything. I could see her brain, the 4 chambers of her heart, and they could even see her ovaries. I'm glad I can feel her move now, because I won't be able to see her again until mid-August, when they do the final ultrasound. The weight gain thing isn't anything to really worry about yet. I've actually lost weight and have had the bump since 9 weeks. As long as the baby's growing at this point, our weight doesn't really matter. Before you know it, we'll be gaining a pound a week...

I go for the anatomy ultrasound May 14. This will be good as I will be right at 21 weeks, so everything should be developed as to determine the sex. How interesting to be able to see the ovaries. I just met with my doctor yesterday and he told me to make sure to bring a blank CD as my ultrasound tech will take several pics and put them on the CD for us. My doctor's office also does the 4-D pics, and those are amazing. I hope the next couple of weeks go by quickly, I am very anxious to find out the sex, as is the rest of the family so they can start buying stuff for the little one.

We are leaning toward the name Gunner if its a boy, or Samantha if its a girl. No ideas on the middle names yet.

We did the 3D last time and it was nuts! She looked like an alien! They told me that since she's so small, it looks weird. When we go for our next one in August, she'll look more normal.

Hi!

Just wanted to chime in. I'm due Sept. 18th. We have the anatomy scan next week. We are both thrilled. We had just started trying when we conceived and we were sure it would take a while. It's very exciting.

Even though they say that the 2nd trimester is a breeze and you don't feel pregnant, I feel pretty tired and generally kind of uncomfortable. Does anyone else feel like that? It also feels like I've gained a huge amount of weight even though I haven't gained THAT much. Not a fan of that feeling at all. But otherwise I've felt fine and healthy.

Hope everyone is feeling well. And looking forward to keeping in touch throughout the coming months!

I wish I had it as easy as you guys. LOL..... When I first found out I was pregnant, I didn't get any morning sickness or breast tenderness. The only thing I had was a missed period. So I thought something was going to be wrong. I woke up one morning and hovered the toilet as if I played football and was the qb. I was miserable. So miserable that I was hospitalized for dehydration. I just couldn't keep anything down. Then they finally prescribed me Zolfran which made me feel like I was in heaven. Certain smells and tastes made me sick to the stomach. Like bananas and mayo. I am having a baby boy. His name is Aidyn Ahmad. He is due to enter the world Sept 22nd and lets hope he isn't late. I'm excited though now that I have hit 5 months. He is already getting all my money. Everything I see is just so cute.

I get tired a lot, so you're not alone there. The belly is starting to get uncomfortable too, especially when I try to sleep. But for the most part I like being pregnant. I don't mind the way I look and I don't think I'll be bothered when I gain weight (so far I still haven't gained any). But what you're feeling is totally normal. And it could be much worse. A close friend of mine was just miserable the entire time she was pregnant. She wasn't just tired and uncomfortable, but moody and depressed and she looked awful.

I'm also due in September. September 10th to be exact. And I didn't get any morning sickness until about 2 weeks ago and I sure am glad I only work part-time since I spend most of my time in the bathroom!! I have to say I'm very jealous that you haven't gained any weight yet because I've already gained 40 pounds and feel like a mountain!!! Hope everything goes well with your ultrasound!
