First, congratulations on your pregnancy! Second, I totally understand how you feel, even down to not wanting to be touched! While every pregnancy is different, you will probably see these symptoms disappate or disappear shortly after getting into your second trimester. I felt great up until about week 6. After that I started experiencing the symptoms you are having (I can best describe the feeling of nausea all day as feeling like I was hung-over). I came home from work most days and fell asleep, because I was exhausted and I was trying to sleep through the nausea. I also found myself super hungry, and if I didn't eat as soon as I felt hungry or right before, it didn't matter what or how much I ate, I still felt nauseated, sometimes more than before I ate. In terms of not feeling like doing anything, I had was the same. At one point my husband offered to hire a cleaning service! By then, I was coming out of the all-day nausea and was starting to have a few good days where I would take advantage of feeling good. Again, every pregnancy is different; a gf of mine approached 8 weeks and was sick as a dog... for only two weeks, then she was fine. As I approached 9 weeks, I started vomiting (though I felt sooo much better each time I did, still not 100%, but better). I was hoping to be like my friend and only experience it for a couple of weeks, but it continued through week 17 or 18. I finally started to feel normal around week 20; the nausea went away completely and my energy came back. I still can't eat certain foods that I normally love, but it's partly due to how it affects me (either heartburn, acid reflux, or just doesn't taste right). One thing that helped me was making sure that I kept hydrated and I felt better. Amazingly, water tasted so good. If you add lemon, even better. Keep crackers and water (or whatever you find working for you!) close by at all times. Good luck and again, congratulations, it will go by quickly and hopefully soon you'll be feeling better!
