Just started Baby Plus PreNatal learning system | 6/22/09 9:11 AM
So I received my Baby Plus Prenatal system Friday, and have used it all weekend. I just started and I'm about 22.5 weeks. You can start it as early as 18 weeks through til birth- obviously the earlier you start the better. It's pretty cool. Not what I expected! The "lessons" are a series of "knocking" sounds. They are rythmic and repeat over and over for one hour each lesson. The chart of how to use the lesson plan is very simple. Although pricey ($160)- it is something that can be used for each pregnancy. And I'm using mine at work right now!! The lessons actually lull me to sleep if I do them at night in bed or super early in the am! lol I have noticed that he (baby) becomes slightly more active during the lessons. Pretty cool! :o) Here's to a smart and healthy baby!

i have been researching the system + i have heard pros + cons [of course]. my main concern is the noise level. i am only 15 weeks so i am a few weeks away form purchasing. some women think it caused hearing loss in their babies. is it possible to "muffle" it? so it isn't as loud so close to the baby but still get some benefit? i am sure i am being paranoid but i think it goes along with the cravings + ever expanding belly ....

I have never heard of it. What is it for? Early learning...so is it just as good as classical music?
