I'm 7 weeks pregnant with my third child and have absolutely no appetite. I had 2 days of really bad morning sickness in week 5(the first clue that I was pregnat) and now just feel sort of queasy all day, but dont get sick. I'm actually having to force myself to eat. This didnt happen with my other two, but they are 10 and 7 so its been a while since I was pregnant. Anyone else feeling the same way?

I too feel this way, sometimes I feel queasy but I have actually only gotten sick a couple of times. I was the same way with my last pregnancy and the doctor wasn't too concerned. I ended up losing quite a bit of weight because my loss of appetite never really went away. If you are really concerned about it bring it to the attention of your doctor but I understand that it is pretty common. Good Luck!

I'm not this way anymore, but just after I found out I was pregnant (probably in my sixth week or so), I became so queasy that I could barely eat at all for about two and a half weeks. Even the smell of food made me feel sick, it was awful. I had to stick to very neutral foods that didn't have strong flavors or smells. I only ever got sick once I think, but it was horrible all the same. Something my sister made me that was really awesome was punch made out of lime sherbert and gingerale. That and some saltines could help calm down my queasiness, maybe it will help you. ^_^

I'm pregnant with my 3rd and luckily haven't had any morning sickness. (yet) I didn't have any with my 1st either, but my second, I was sick for the entire first 3 months (morning, noon, and night). Had to stick with plain bagels, oatmeal and crackers, but had to really make myself eat, even though sometimes I knew it would be coming back up. Even some strong smells would make me sick. My doctor wasn't too concerned. It can be very common during the first trimester. If you become concerned, just talk to your doctor about it and I'm sure they'll put your mind at ease. Hope this helps.

I am six weeks and lost my appetite two weeks ago. The nausea has just started in the last couple of days. It comes and goes but this morning was the first time it was really bad. I have been forcing myself to eat for the last two weeks. I don't really feel hungry and a lot of foods that may sound appealing at first smell so bad to me that by the time I make them I can't eat them. It sounds like it's pretty normal so I'm trying to take it in stride and not throw up in my office.

Don't worry too much. I was the same exact way and forced down a couple small meals a day. Keep taking your vitamins and you will make up for it later!

Hey,
If you are experiencing morning sickness and you are picky with what you eat because it just comes up Saltine or soda crakers did miracles for me, eat it with water, as soon as you get up, before every meal and when you need a quick fix it should help in making your apetite bigger or make an apetite period.
Just try to eat at least and take notes of what sticks and dont forget to take your prenatals!
