I recently had a D&E surgery due to my fetal abnormaltiesn I was 23 weeks. I was very devestated and decided not to wait before trying again. I had my surgery on July 1, 2009 an I do not not when to expect my period if you have been through this or miscarriage which is kind of the same or abortion. Please let me know how long it took for your period to return. It is now Aug 5ht as you know and i don't know what to expect please help.

In March of 07 I delivered a my daughter stillborn @ 24 weeks. We didn't wait either. My period took about 2 months to return, so be patient and look to God for strength I know exactly what you are going thru

My first pregnancy i miscarried at 14 weeks. It was early in the month and my period is usually at the end. It returned the following month, but my doctor told me to wait at least 2 months after my period to try again, so my body could get back to normal

I had a miscarriage at about 17 weeks...found out I was going to miscarry at 12/13 weeks...they ended up not having to do a D&C but it took about 3 to 4 months for my period to come back. I was told by my doctor to wait at least 3 months for healing and to get regulated. But I ended up waiting 6 since it took so long for me to get a regular period. Hope this helps!

I miscarried sometime between 10 and 12 weeks in February and then conceived almost two weeks later. It wasn't supposed to be possible, but miracles happen all the time. Good luck to you and just remember to take some time out for yourself and try not to get too stressed, it will happen when the timing is right.
