I think I might be pregnant. I was wondering if anyone can tell me the symptoms they noticed right away besides a missed period. I maybe feel slightly more tired. Nausea comes and goes...every once in a while the last week or so I have a slightly nauseous feeling. The same with dizzyness...it comes and goes and only lasts seconds...just like the nauseousness. Maybe slight cramps and sensative nipples (not the whole breast).

Can anyone tell me if maybe some women don't feel symptoms as severe as others, if any at all.

Thanks for your help,
T

I wish I could help you, but I actually knew I was pregnant pretty much right away before I even missed my period. Well I didn't KNOW know but I had a feeling. I didn't take a home test though until 3 or 4 days after my period was supposed to start. I basically did the ovulation math in my head and figured that I probably was and sure enough the test was positive. I guess the only thing I did notice was that I didn't get my pre-period 3-5lb weight gain. I usually always gain 3-5lbs the week before my period and my stomach gets bloated which didn't happen this time.

My best advice would be to take a home test, becuase they can be pretty accurate within just a few days of a missed period. Mine was due March 28th, and I took the pregnancy test April 1st (I know the date is kind of ironic).

I had to go to the bathroom all the time all of the sudden. I was waking up 1-2 times during the night and going at least once every 1-2 hours during the day. I actually had a hard time setting the pregnancy test off because I'd been going to the bathroom during the night, there wasn't enough hormone in the "first" morning urine. Hope this helps.

My first symptoms were being very tired. I was so tired that I didn't even hear my son crying to get up in the morning. I wound up having to put his monitor next to my bed or my husband would bring him into the room to sleep with me before he went to work. Other than that, I really did have a feeling that something was just off. I tried the home test a few days before and it showed negative, so I waited and took another one a couple of days later. That one was still negative, so I waited until the day after my period was late and it showed up positive. If, for some reason, it still isn't positive after a few tries you can always make an appointment with your doctor to have a test done there. I hope you find out soon!

Thanks everyone for your posts. I couldn't get it off my mind so last night I bought a pregnancy test and took it this morning and to my disbelief it had to pink lines...it's positive! I have two more tests I am going to take again just to make sure...but I guess that answers my question. I just can't believe it yet.

Congratulations!! I was the same way as you with the early symptoms. I took 4 pregnancy tests before one came back positive, but I just knew bc of the fatigue, nipple sensitivity and queasiness. If you are anything like me with these early symptoms, it sounds like you might be in for some more of that fun morning sickness, which can get worse around weeks 6-12. The good news is, at least for me, when I hit 2nd trimester, like clockwork, it was gone. I feel great now!
I suggest you go out right away and pick up Tums and ginger ale (but dont overdo them, or they will start to repulse you), preggie pops, and seabands. And make sure to eat frequently, but small portions - have a water bottle and snacks in your bag at all times!
I wish I had known all of the tricks in advance, so I hope these help! Or maybe you won't have any issues at all - everyone is different! Either way, you are in for an exciting ride! Best of luck!
