When we went in for our anatomy ultrasound our baby wasn't it the best position to see the gender. The ultrasound tech told us that she thought it was a girl however. She said we could take another look at our next appt if we wanted to. So of course being that we already have two girls we wanted to be sure, and asked at the next appt to be checked. The receptionist then proceeded to tell us that it would be $50.00. If there is no medical reason to do an ultrasound then they have to charge you. Your insurance won't cover it, just to see the sex of the baby. We thought it was kinda ridiculous that the ultrasound tech didn't tell us that initially, but we paid the money anyways. My husband just had to be sure. Oh and boy are we sure now! She is for sure a girl. I think they gave us like 13 pictures just of that area at that second ultrasound lol. It gave us peace of mind when it came to painting the nursery though!
