Trying for Conceive for 7 months, starting Clomid | 1/9/08 9:44 PM
Hello!! My husband and I have been trying for seven months and this is our last unmedicated cycle. We are starting Clomid if we do not conceive this month because the Dr. thinks I ovulate irregulary and wants to give us a better shot. Anyone else in similar situations???

My husband and I have been ttc for about a year. We just started our first round of IUI yesterday and hoping we'll get pregnant this month. A few of my friends have used Clomid for irregular ovulation and it has worked in all of the cases! Good luck...

Hello, My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about three years. Grant it we did get pregnant every year but we had three miscarriages. I started going to a fertility dr and I was on clomid. It does work. It worked for me and my husband. And now I am 10 weeks pregnant and going strong. Just hang in there, it will happen for you.

Buy the book "Taking Control of Your Fertility. The definitive guide to natural birth control, pregnancy achievement, and reproductive health." by Toni Weschler, MPH
My husband and I tried to concieve for 7 months without success before buying this book. The first month I used the Fertility Awareness Method FAM we got pregnant. I am now 7 weeks along!!
This method works without invasive procedures and pills - I am proof of that!
Good luck and let us know if this method works for you.

TCOYF is nice to see if you are ovulating and have a "normal" LP, but just because you read it and follow FAM doesn't assure you getting pregnant.
Just like a CBEFM won't get you pregnant.

I'm anti rushing into medication and procedures but if you and your dr. feel it is the necessary next step than knock yourselves out.

I'm at the same stage. Cycle 7 of timing it perfectly, and I think I might be starting meds at some point pretty soon, depending on the outcome of my most recent bloodwork. With any luck, it won't come to that, but I am not holding my breath.

This is apparently the only post I can open.

Hello. We have been off BCP since April 2007, dx with MFI in January 2008. No meds. Currently near the end of cycle 14.

This is the only one I can open too.....must be a trend.

I'm 27, Cycle 12. Started TTC 3/07, started charting after dx w/PCOS and insulin resistance 10/07. I'm on my 2nd round of Clomid 50mg w/triggering.

Looks like they are aware of the issue and working on it.

heya!

currently cycle 10, no meds. We plan to try for 2 more months and if nothing, then consider testing.
horrible timing this month, but that didn't stop me from searching out pregnancy charts on FF that matched our timing pattern

Hi Ladies, I was just wondering if any one's dr has checked them for endometrosis? I had it and was unable to concieve and now I am on my 4th pregnancy (23 weeks) (we have 2y/o, 4y/o, 5y/o), I had to have surgery for it again this past June. I actually had endometrosis and cysts on my overies in June and when my husband came home for a visit from Iraq (1st time we had relations since surgery) I came out pregnant so it did work. You can at least ask your dr if they can check for it. Wish you all luck.. ^-^Crystal^-^

Hi there. I had a stillborn daughter Jan. 31st 2008 with no medical reason to why we lost her. It took us 4 years to concieve her naturally, and we just couldn't wait that long to try again. Three months ago I started 50 mg. of clomid on days 5 - 9. This month (my 3rd month on clomid) I had bloodwork drawn to see if I was ovulating, and my count came back at 42!! Which means it was working - and I could have possibly been pregnant. Sure enough, I took a pregnancy test on Friday (Sept. 19th) and it came back positive. I've taken 5 more tests and they are all positive. Hang in there, *baby dust*
