Im so excited to actually see our baby in 2 weeks! I can't wait to see how it's growing and forming...And also to see if it's a boy or girl. I have this strong feeling that its a girl which is fine with me. I just want what anyone wants a healthy baby. Boy or girl isn't really a factor for me. I am scared though because a few weeks after I see the baby I have to go for a colposcopy. I know they don't take sample from u when ur pregnant but its just scary to think it could be cancer but I guess if thats the case I am lucky to be pregnant as well. I just kinda wish October 31st(EDD) would hurry...I want to really meet our baby.

Hey I totally understand! I'm also 18 weeks (EDD Nov1) and I'm having the anatomic ultrasound in two weeks. I THINK I've only felt the baby once (that was almost two weeks ago), but haven't felt anything similar since. I can't wait to see the little one growing! I know he/she is because in the last week alone I've put on two pounds and I feel my uterus tightening and moving from time to time (the entire lower belly gets really tight for about 3-4 minutes, then relaxes -- especially if I bend over or sit in a strange position). My first ultra-sound was at 8w5d and all we could see was the heart beat and the little one looked like a bean, so I'm very excited to see the progress made since then. We have decided not to find out if it's a boy or girl. I hope your other medical testing goes well and has healthy results. Take care.

This is my first ultrasound since I got pregnant...I guess they say between 18-20 wks is the best time to do it and when I go for mine I will be 20 wks. When I went to the docs last week the baby's heart was beating strong at 159bpm...So amazing! I am actually very surprised that I am showing at 4 months, my belly gets rounder as the weeks go by and I do feel tightness where my uterus is but thats a good thing it means baby is growing and they measured my belly and I was at like 14cm or inches not sure how they measure it but everything was normal...Im just really anticipating this u/s I hope the baby copperates and lets the tech get a look and it's not stubborn lol...We will see

I started showing at 9 weeks... Talk about a surprise! Good luck at your ultrasound. It's so amazing to actually see your baby!

We went for our "20 wk" u/s a little early and it was so exciting! We had gotten one at 12 weeks and this last one was at 18 1/2 weeks and oh wow it was amazing how much she had grown! I know it's been soooo hard to wait for each milestone but just think... We're almost halfway there!
