I'm interested in learning about what other mothers with babies are doing for their childcare needs. I have recently decided to go with AuPairCare's infant specialized program, for an au pair with special experience with babies. I like that their training includes infant massage and other personalized things so I know my baby is getting the best care.

Has anyone else done this? That is, use an au pair agency for their infant program? If not, what else are you all doing?

I'm kinda lucky. I don't need to worry about agencies or daycare centers. My aunt has recently retired and offered to take care of the baby. I'm so happy to have that option, because I know she'll be with family. I really didn't want to send her to daycare, but I would have if I had to. I used to be a daycare supervisor, so I would have sent her there, where I know exactly what to expect. I think it's important for us to know everything there is to know about the people/center/agency that will be caring for our little ones! If you're not comfortable, you'll never be able to get any work done because you'll be constantly worrying.
