Message Board Guidelines

Protect Your Own Privacy
Whether you’re posting on The Cradle or anywhere else, please think twice before you post your personal contact information for the world to see. Also please do not ask others to post their personal information.

R-e-s-p-e-c-t!
We ask that you treat others with respect on the message boards. Of course, that doesn’t mean that you can’t share your candid thoughts or even – dare we say – disagree, but please refrain from being malicious or confrontational.

Be Decent
Please don’t have a gutter mouth or post tasteless pictures. Unsurprisingly, not all readers appreciate that. We’re sure you can find many other forums on the web that would welcome those types of posts with open arms. We reserve the right to delete posts that we feel are vulgar or offensive.

Have Something to Sell?
Commercial Items: Please do not post commercial messages or solicitations on the boards. The Cradle message boards are for conversations among our members… not a place for unabashed promotions. Any post that is commercial in nature will be removed.

Personal Items: If you have personal items on Craigslist or eBay that you would like to sell, we will allow you to post a link to these items on the boards. Links to stores (including eBay stores) are not allowed. Inclusion of any linked content on the message boards does not imply approval or endorsement of the linked content by The Cradle. If you decide to participate in either buying or selling personal items online, you do so at your own risk.

Copyrighted Information
Please don't post others' copyrighted Information on the boards. If this happens, you will be liable - not us. Please review the Terms of Use for more details.

Let Us Know...
If you encounter problems with the boards, or if you find inappropriate posts, please bring them to our attention! We thank you for your vigilance.

The Cradle may remove a post which does not relate to the topic being discussed in the board, or occasionally archive or reorganize the boards. As a member of The Cradle, you must adhere to the Terms of Use. If we feel that a user is violating our guidelines or any of our Terms of Use, we reserve the right to deactivate that user’s account.
